VeloComms exists because the most important conversations in a hospital were happening on the least accountable tools.
Why we built it
Walk any unit and you’ll find the same thing: critical coordination running on personal phones, group texts, and pagers. It works right up until it doesn’t — a message to the wrong person, a page no one answers, an incident assembled from memory, and no record of any of it.
Consumer chat apps are fast but not built for PHI or accountability. The EHR is the system of record but not a place to move quickly across a team. VeloComms fills the gap between them — a platform where the right clinician gets the right message with full context, and every step is on the record.
