Cookie Policy
Effective August 13, 2026
VeloComms uses a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies, focused on keeping the application secure and functional rather than on advertising or cross-site tracking.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which the platform uses to remember interface preferences such as your chosen theme.
2. How VeloComms uses them
- Strictly necessary: session and authentication tokens that keep you signed in securely and protect against request forgery.
- Functional: local storage for preferences such as light or dark theme selection on this marketing site and in the product.
- Security: signals used to detect suspicious activity and protect accounts.
3. What we do not do
The VeloComms product and this marketing site do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell browsing data or build cross-site advertising profiles. We do not embed third-party ad networks.
4. Analytics
Where basic, privacy-respecting analytics are used to understand aggregate usage of the marketing site, they are configured to minimize personal data. No PHI is ever processed for analytics.
5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent secure sign-in, so the application may not function correctly without them.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
This document is provided for general information about how VeloComms is built and operated and is not legal advice. Covered entities should complete their own HIPAA risk assessment and a Business Associate Agreement before processing PHI.
